I have to move the remains of my last greenhouse out of the way and level the ground. This will be larger than what I had and the ground isn't level there. My wife is no help except to buy the plants. I still have her working anyway.

Larry just take your time and get it correct you will be very happy with the greenhouse FT was very helpful when we got stumped, but we went into the greenhouse with a bad attitude to start with.
My buddies has the doublewall on both ends and the rollup sides Tabacco plants go in Mid March To April don't have to be in the ground until May. He just rolls up the sides when it gets hot. Its a well built greenhouse have fun
I got the 8mm twin wall all around with the heater and fans included.
I hope to get it done so I can finish off my flowers from seed that I have started in the basement. I go crazy with the seed cataloges every year. I look for thing I have never grown before in flowers. I gave up on vegies a long time ago. The wife just have to see one little bug crawl and she won't eat it. All she keeps me around for is to kill bugs and open jars.

Congratulations! Sounds like a fantastic project. And I like your theory about it being okay to purchase orchid stuff since you don't have "other vices." But does that mean that orchids are like heroin--get hooked and you can't stop? If so, there are some around here (myself included) who probably could use some orchid rehab.
Keep us posted on the progress of your new greenhouse! Lucky you!
Hi Sadie,
I 've got the feaver but till my greenhouse is busting at the seams, I won't need rehab.

You can fill it at the Lansing Orchid Show that would be a fun trip home. You trying to Explain how all those little homeless orchids got in the car.
I may half fill it but we are only taking the car so I will have to hold back. Have you talked mama in to letting you go yet?
No not after my trip to a grower in Monroe Mi in Late November I took the F-350 with a cover bbbbbbbiiiiiiigggggg trouble. That was 250 miles on non stop silence. I'm grounded until late spring after and I repeat the word after all the yard work is done.
My kid pitches in college baseball game this Sat so I'm going there its that takes priorty over the orchids: about the only thing that does.
You never answered my question is there a Marathon Station and a Dariy Queen in your town about a block off the interstate
I think you were in our sister town of Coloma which is just one mile west of here. Coloma is on one side for the lake and Watervliet the other Paw Paw Lake that is.

The greenhouse came today. The total weight was 1500 lbs. The truck was to big to get in the driveway so he helped me get it off the truck and on the side for the driveway. Metal parts all over the place. His comment was it's a good thing metal isn't bringing what it did last year or it wouldn't last long there. That's all it took for me to spend the rest of the day moving this stuff to the back of the house. I loaded most of the metal parts in my van and left them there. The Plastic sheets I managed to drag to the garage and leaned them in front of the one door we don't use. I have a guy comming tomorrow to help get the sight cleared for the greenhouse and then we can start putting it up. I can't wait. I'll try to snap a picture of the mess we have to clean up from the old greenhouse.
