Very pretty. I really like it. this weekend i plunked another 10 orchids in s/h. now i have more in s/h than not and for the most part they love it. growth is exponential and it is a lot less work for me.

Really beautiful. Still not sold of Semi-hydro since I like to bring orchids into the house and trade them with friends. Guess I am a bit old-school still.

BD, my term 'semi-hydro' is probably misleading. The plant is in an 80mm pot with a mix of bark, volcanic rock & crushed quartz. It sits in the top of the disposable plastic glass which has 2 holes about 25mm up from the base for overflow water release. I water the plant with everything else and the base water in the cup never gets stale. The roots are coming thru the base of the pot down into the water. This is something anyone could do and to have the plant inside just sit the lot in a vase to hide it.
This species is very nice mine never stop blooming, I love this one
