Very diverse, Paul. I've seen S. rowleyanus before, and recognized it right away because it's so distinctive, but not the S. radicans.

And, don't be hard on yourself or your plant. Max tenuifolia is *not* an easy bloomer! I had one a few years ago, that grew really well--tripled its size under my care. But would it bloom? NO! Since then, I've talked to a lot of people who had the same experience. I, for one, am envying your success.
