    Hi Julie!

You might try putting your catt in natural sun light and taking the photo. I use a digital camera to take many of our shots and have learned through lots of takes that the best light is sunlight that just hits across the plant. Not direct light onto the plant, but just across. The direct light will do like your flash and alter the color and wash out the plant.

Very beautiful catt! Thanks for sharing the photos!

    Cheers!

    Hi BD,

What do you mean, just hits across the plant?

I did try direct sunlight on the flowers and found the same as you - the effect is similar to the camera flash.

The pictures I just posted were shot with natural light, but from inside near the window (too cold to step outside for a picture!) They're the closest I've been able to get to the intensity of the orange (it seems battery-powered).

    Hi Julie,

I think you need to edit your pics. This is the result to what I did using a simple microsoft photo editor. I heard that the result is even better using a photoshop, but I don't have one.

    Hey Julie!
I guess I meant 'Indirect Light' instead of sunlight shining directly on the plant. Sorry for the confusion.
    Cheers!
