After threatening to give this plant I found that it was going into spike! Here is the result .Someone gave it to me as they weren't having any luck in blooming it & then I had it for over 2 yrs.

SO beautiful! ..and probably rare in cultivation. I've never seen one before!
what a wonderufl little plant... the colours are fantastic with that sunny lip against the sprightly petals.
how fortuitous for the plant to have flowered... or did it know it was tethering on being sent away....
definitely worth the two year wait.
