Hi Becky,
Ok...good...I won't worry next time a dens leaves yellow, so thanks. What about the dark splotchy areas.....are they anything to have been concerned about, so I'll know if/when it happens again?

I haven't been giving my den a cool down period at all.....same regiment all year, because I thought it was a phal-type den. I mentioned this to wetfeet as well as the reason I had it potted in all spagh. I have realized now that I was trying to re-root it the wrong way.

As always, thanks for your help,
Vicki

The sphag concerns me; it doesn't dry out quickly, and dends do need to dry out a bit. I treat mine like catts and they perform gorgeously. Do insure they get their proper cool down in the fall-winter from october to january of 45-55F.
