If you have been growing it for a year and have it in bud, then it would appear you are growing it correctly. I have never grown this species..
I don't know, but if it is in bud, something must be working. I will have to google to see what this looks like in bloom. Be sure to post yours when it blooms too!!

Congrats Raika the flowers are very small as well as the inflorescence like a thread, most of this species the color basically white cream with labellum brown or yellow.Probably another 3 to 4 weeks it will reward you.
