A friend of mine bought an orchid yesterday. The lady at the store said she waters hers (I'm guessing it was a Phal since that is what he got) once a week by putting ice cubes on it. I couldn't find any real info on this. Can someone tell me if this is a good idea or not? From what I've learned so far I wouldn't think this could be good or effective. Then again I'm still learning and making mistakes(killing plants).
So has anybody heard of this or tried it?
