What's wrong with my Phal venosa?

The edges of the leaves are getting kinda yellow. The leaves are becoming mottled with dark and light green. The edges on the bottom of the leaves are coated with sticky stuff (feels like plant honey). Am I giving it too much light or what is happening? It's in a North-north-east window and in a 2.5" square pot in sphag.

That says pest infestation to me. Aphids? Spider mites? Something is sucking on the tissues. I'd treat the plant with some pesticide and do some detective work.

Might be mites they love Phals .. What are you feeding it ? Gin

If it stays too dry, mites will eat it up. Did you spray it yet?

Have you discovered anything? I vote for some kind of bug as well--mites would be my first guess, but you never know. Definitely spray that baby down.
