Maxillaria variabilis yellow variety

I have 3 or 4 different color varieties of this species. This is my clear yellow variety. It is a cutting that I received last year in trade.

I have couple different babies... I love these maxillarias!!! Yours is so lovely! I hope I will see my blooming in a few years (if they can survive SF heat...)

Wow, I love how shiny the red is. It almost looks liquidy (if that's even a word).

I don't recall this one being fragrant. Us Bulbo growers tend not to be sniffers, LOL.

there is one that is so deep red it almost looks black. I also ahve orangy shade, red and dark red

Ron, I've been keeping my eye on the almost black one for.. a month?! Is just a matter of time (and spending limit) to get it. So far I have yellow and cross b/w red and yellow (baby). Hope they grow happy here and we may see blooms in a couple of years...
