I received my pre-orders from the Santa Barbara orchid show, so that would be 6 plants (do doubles count? ...)
It's all Ron's fault, he got me into the whole pre-order thing and now some vendors email me when they have plants they think "I could be interested in" ...
I don't have to make any effort, they come and tempt me directly

Amen to that. That is how I acquired 2 of my three flasks--the vendor just emailed me with a list of things "that might interest you." Sheesh--I already seriously lack self control already--and now you come with a tailor made list. What am I going to do . . . oh yeah, buy more.

It may be hard to believe,but I haven't purchased any new chids since Oct.2008.Yes, it's killing me.My hard cane den's. are kicking out keikis left and right.I'm the proud papa of 25 little ones to take care of.Due to $$ issues,I don't see any new additions for a while, still. I've just purchased 3 mini - Pholidota chinensis;Dynema polybulbon;Epidendrum porpax ; also 1 paph. liemianum and another one that I'm not sure what is.

I was trying to hold off until the Parkside show this past weekend, but I was good (a relative term) and only bought two: a peloric phal noid and Den. Mike Stripe. From the show I got a Slc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y.T' and L. Santa Barbara Sunset 'Showtime'. Four total. I also divided one of my cattleyas. I thought all of this would quench the beast inside, but my birthday is coming up in the fall. I can't contain myself!
