This is my little Haerella retrocalla it has been in bud a while the largest bud first then the second one developed there is a second spike to the right that is not developing so quickly but its got plenty of time, I am going away for a few days on monday I so hope it doesnt bloom then, I will be staying at my parents to look after the dog while they go away so I am close enough to come home and spray it if needed as it likes the humidity and doesnt like to be too dry for long. I am growing it in intermediate to warm conditions about 3 and a half ft away from a metal halide light and it seems quite happy a the moment but darent speak too soon LOL I have had it about 4 months.

. Remember, they are sequential so don't cut that spike until it turns yellow/brown. Mine usually just takes a month or two between blooming to put on a new leaf and some roots. Make sure to give the blooms a good sniff once they open
