I purchased this neat plant last month at an orchid show. I can’t take credit for the blooms, but I sure can enjoy them! Hamana Albans is a cross between spicerianum (obviously!) x Kay Rinaman. Thanks for looking!

Whoa--all these cool Paphs! I love the color change in the blooms on this, and being able to see the side view. Great pic, Nancy!
I was thinking the same thing on the colors - is it a color change, once the bloom matures, or are there actually color variations between each flower?
Julie
Nice plant!
Julie,
On this particular plant, the color variation came with age. When I first purchased the plant, the first bloom was olive green. As you can see, it's now more of a bronze color.

Tres cool! Haven't seen a significant paph color change before. Is that typical of one of the parents?
Julie
Drool .... I love the colors, the touch of pink is outstanding . Gin
interesting color shift...kind of like the white complexes but in reverse (green/yellow to white on those)
The parents are superior plants on their own!!! Interesting to see what they can create! I can easily see resemblences of both parents in the child!
