Hey just bumping up this topic, It took me a few weeks of lengthy emails, long conversations on phone and one good habit to identify this white catt. I contacted the vendor here in Germany for the identification of the plant. They told me to directly contact the plant producer from the Netherlands. The producer from the Netherlands asked me if i had the tag that came with the plant and guess what, I had it. (I keep all the tags that come with the plants). I told them that it was not of much use, because it said only cattleya. They asked me for a no. on the tag and in a corner in very fine print was a long no. I sent it to them and zooom they sent me the name.
It is Cattleya Angel bells 'Suzie' AM/AOS. I was so happy that I finally had this Catt identified. So moral of the story, never throw away the tags. A thought squirreled into my mind. When they can write down a code no. on the tag, why not simply put the name on the tag and save all this trouble???
