That is great, Danny! I hope you keep up the good growing.
(sort of a hijack here...) I just had to laugh at the line about bringing in your citrus plants. I did the same thing yesterday and when moving my grapefruit tree, I slipped and stuck one of the thorns under my finger-nail. Today, the end of my middle finger is so sore. lol. All I was trying to do is get some old fallen leaves out of the top of the tree/bush before moving it into the greenhouse. Stuck my hand in there hard and that thorn went in about a quarter inch. ouch!

Oh god I can imagine the pain. Citrus thorns are a right pain!!! Literally lol. They are worth it though, I have some fruit on the wayWhat kind of citrus do you keep? I have a grapefruit, but they take sooooo long to reach maturity and flower that I get annoyed lol. So I sate my urges with limes, lemons, oranges and calamondins. And bonsai trees. And a coffee tree. And a fukien tea plant. And roses Hmmmm.............
How old is the lime tree? I would love grapefruits but the containers have to be beyond enormous before the tree can reach maturity lol
Is it a key lime tree? They usually fruit in a couple of years. Is it from seed? Always satisfying when they are
No, I think it is just a regular lime tree. I saw an google ad here in the forum that said something like 'the first 20 dollars is on us', so I bought a lime tree for 12 -14 bucks and had it shipped. It was basically a gift and now I get coupons in my email almost every day - lol.. But no limes yet.
Cheers,
