Hi, I've been very busy, working crazily, but I couldn't help to tell you all that I am super happy!

A friend of mine went to work in Africa and had to give up of some of his plants.

guess.... I was the chosen lucky .

I gained of him the next :

Prag. Jason Fischer - in bud - two spikes

Prag Mem. Dick Clements - in bud

Prag Sedenii - in flower

Prag. xDom wimber

Prag. Eric Young

Paphiopedium noid.

I'd like to ask the experts.... they has quite clear leaves (prags and paph), they were growing under artificial light.

will it be that I can offer the same light of cattleyas or it have to be less?

my friend fertilize veeeery few (??? once or twice by YEAR)

Should I keep with this poor regimen?

I put them in a tray with stones and a layer of water. They are used to consume reverse osmosis water.

should I water with rain water. Could it be ok as well.

That is amazing! Congratulations!

They cannot handle cattleya level light. They need less light than cattleya orchids.

You should feed on your normal schedule. We do it here weakly - weekly. (1/4 strength fertlizer on a rotation)

I cannot answer your RO water question. I will leave that for another member to help with.

the only advice i give you with is that send them phrags my way.... hehehe sorry can't
help it.

I dont know much about phrags, and am just starting with paphs.... I give my paph
philippinense cattleya light almost vanda light and its doing fine there.... paphs
concolor and godefroyea are in a bit less of cattleya light, my other paphs (ciliolare,
acmoduntom, fowlei, noids) is in phal light.... my paph haynaldianum just finished blooming so
i'll be placing it to catleya light as well.

I think I'll improve the fertilization little by little until get the amount you advised, that is how i'm used to do with my others orchids ( learned it here,sure). And i'd like to thank you also cause you always help me with tags, rsrsrsrrs.

@ Randy...if you help me to stimulate people to plan a tour here in brazil, maybe 2012, since 2011 is already scheduled to Borneo I'll reserve a division for you, ok, rsrsrsr....and of course if I can handle with them, LOL (oh my Gosh!)

Using rain water instead of RO should be fine. When you repot, plant deeper or lay the plants over so new roots can form from the upper growths. Many of what you have are hybrids with some Prag besseae in them and new growths tend to climb up. If you get them back down to the medium you will have a much stronger root system.

good to know John D., thanks a lot. I was just trying to figure out why some of them were climbing up and others not.
using rain water is handle for me. We are starting rain time since summer is coming, I will be able to take some time to decide what to do later.
