it's awesome, excellent pics too
Very beautiful. This is a great plant.
Extraordinary. I understand that they are continuous bloomers. Good job. I killed mine.
It's just amazing watching buds unfurl. Congratulations on your nice pics and bloom
Stunning! Congrats! ( now I wanna cry... I broke the spike on mine...)
Thank you all! I have to credited DH for the photography. He is finally enjoying my orchids through his lens
Oh, Sorry to hear that. I am still learning to growing this one. The good thing is that new bud forms rather quickly. Shortly after I got mine in Sep, 2 buds formed, I lost both because I was moving the plant around. To my surprise, 2 new buds developed, and I still lost 1... Anyway, I am just happy to see the first butterfly in person.
Fantastic! Can see a different image/face each time I look at it. Could ypu give some information on the plant and it's growing needs? Thanks for sharing, Bill
I am still figuring it out: it's grown in a clay pot with medium sized bark, gets bright but not direct sun, together with my phals, water every 7-10 days. My way to figure out the time to water: I leave the plastic label inside the pot, pull it out and wipe it between fingers, water if it's dry, leave it alone if it's still moist.
