Hi Michael, this is an absolute cracker of a paph! Good display and definitely worth the wait.
Is it ok to get a close up of the flowers please? The colouration is unusual for a Paph philippinense and a close up may reveal a little more about it's identity.
cheers
tim
Stunning yellow and copper tones!!![]()
I called the vendor on this one and he told me they had a problem with the labeling.
It is not a straight phil. v. laevigatum. It's phil. v. laevigatum x (phil v. laevigatum x kolopakingii v. topperri). I believe philippinense x kolopakingii is Paph. Temptation.
Well, they named that one right-I'm definitely tempted.

What a lovely display !
Temptation, indeed! Although the philippinense, rothschildianum & sanderianum crosses are not the paphs I like the most, they are the ones I admire the most. Great blooming & growing.
Cheers,
Rob
