its a massive plant and couldnt take a decent pix including the spike. it also shows how it had us fooled, leaves and all is not like any other staurochilus we have seen. we were pretty sure its a pomatocolpa or alike.

Beautiful specimen... It looks like a good combination Staurochilus luzonensis and Staurochilus guibertii, perhaps not a hybrid but a newly unidentified specie...
