Sabah, an province on Borneo island is very rich in Trichoglottis. More then 24 species were reported until now. On of them is Trichoglottis retusa with cute yellow flowers.

Great flowers Mietek! Is it from the roadsinde vendor? Borneo is indeed very reech of Trichoglottis. 3 new species are described in the actual Malesian Orchid Jornal Vol. 4.

Hi Pavel, not this Trichoglotis is not an climbing plant. It's growing upright, the roots stick to the bark and hold the plant.

Last week I just got Vol.4 of Malesian Orchid Journal and found there a article of Timothy Choltco. The plant I've posted here is rename and , calls now, in honour of Mr. Dwayne Lowder, Virginia, Trichoglottis lowderiana.
I like this genus very much! I have Trichoglottis brachiata and still waiting for its blooming!
