I didn't know quite where to post this picture, here ,or in the Catt. forum .
It is Broughtonia sanguinea (Hamlyn's Peach) X aurea . It has 3 spikes but I could not get a close up of all . 2 are not open this one is just opening . It is mounted on an old Oak slab . Watered in the am. only . Old roots trimmed out when dead . Some of the info. says to rip them off the mounts to remove old roots trouble is it removes the good ones too . The second picture is the whole plant . Gin

finally got rid of them by throwing the whole plant in soap and Malathion , didn't know Malathion is supposed to kill Bros. Thanks again
