thanks for the kind words. actually, i am also planning to put in some "small bamboos" in the surrounding area to increase humidity or at least to protect the orchids from to much sunlight since summer is coming soon.

thanks, and i thank God that some of my orchids are now gearing up for some blooms. Though my orchids are "simple" compared to what others have in their collection yet i just can't stop looking at them everyday. hehehehe

thanks, delph for the name, it comes with a variety of colors pala hmmm now i want every color. hehehe. do you have all the colors? where do you put yours? mine is attached to a mango tree and i am seeing a good number of roots though it only receives a little bit of sunlight.

Just wanna share

This cattleya has been with me for awhile and never fails to flower no matter what the conditions it is put in. It's in a new pot and subdivided. The divisions i attached it on live trees. I am just thankful that the blooms continued to progress.


the so called "ground orchid"


i need help in identifying this orchid and where should i put it? it seems like its not sending out new roots and i have a feeling (based on the structure of its roots) that its somewhat "soil-based" or "lithophytic".

that catt is awesome. the ground orchid is spathoglottis probably a plicata as it has various
forms. The last one looks like a cymbidium.

I place my tricho. latisepala mounted on a coco slab, hanging way high up on my grow
area, it gets lots of filtered light. Im envious because I dont have trees to attach my
orchid on.

Whoa! its been awhile since i visited my own thread. Got to say this that the weather over here is freaking me out, i feel like there's a tag of war among the groups of summer, wet season, el nino and the tail end of a cold weather and add the mother nature calamities around the world, i just can't help thinking watching again the film 2012.
