hi,
another fasciata opened, this one is smaller and not as colorful on the column and labellum, but neat round petals, and a slight husky scent.
cheers!

Just a nice one
really beautiful! Are you sure, that it is fasciata and not reichenbachiana?
thanks martin,
yes, a 100% sure. i did a thorough research on it and discussed it with jim cootes over days....
p. reichenbachiana has a wider and triangular labellum with toothed edges, also the midlobe isnt that prominent, instead it has smaller ridges.
unfortunately, there is so many mislabeled p.reichenbachiana in the net, and it gets very confusing.
@zain,
thanks!
It looks 'dangerous' in that side shot..Beautiful phal.
Cheers,

Nice fasciata with very good form.
Nice plants. My Phalaenopsis reichenbachiana is sick. The leaves were burn out to the sun and wind. This is a disaster for us orchid growers having drought.
Hurray for this Philippine native! Beautiful!
Aren't we just proud of our heritage Ron?
