Brassia orchid

i bought this one 5 days ago and i think its a brassia orchid, it look pretty and healthy but a couple of the leaves have black dots on them!!! is this normal or is it sick????

Black spots on some of the leaves, especially the older ones, are perfectly acceptable, most Oncidiinae get these when exposed to the correct amount of sunlight-- in fact, some will not bloom without it. It looks like a very healthy plant with some good new growth.

And I'm nearly completely sure you have purchased a Miltassia C.M. Fitch 'Izumi' -- take a look here to be sure, if you'd like.

I agree with Derek on both points. You have Miltassia C.M. Fitch 'Izumi' and the spots are quite normal.

Yes it is a Miltassia C.M. Fitch, thanks for the info. what am i supposed to do after its done blooming??? do you know if the hydroponic system is good for orchids??? sorry about all the questions but i'm new at this lol.

they look more like black dots on the leaves and the leaves that have most of this dots/spots, their tips are yellowish. i took this pictures when i bought it, but now its growing another spike!!! is that normal and thanks again for all the info =)

It looks to be potted in a clay pot with a bark mix. That seems like a real good way to continue growing it. Almost all of my Brassia-type hybrids are potted in this way. I'd water it about twice a week, ensuring you put in the sink and really run water through it well.
