i recently bought a few phals, and none of them had the genus name on them , just a tag that said PHALINOPSIS and some care instructions...and the second one, i've seen pictures of it before, but all i know is that it's PHALINOPSIS.

well its Phalaenopsis, as for the name.... sorry, both are hybrids and difficult to get the
name of..... both are beautiful.
There are many with these color patterns. Since they are hybrids it will be hard to get an exact name unless someone here recognizes the bloom and they have it blooming as well.
Both are lovely and regardless of the names, I would keep them.
cheers,

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...
The one on the left "looks" like Phal Baldan's Kaleidoscope 'Golden Treasure'. The other is more difficult because, as has been said, many hybrids "look' similar. Phal Brother Sara Gold and its hybrids "look" like yours....

You have two lovely plants...alot of us refer to them as NOID's...(no id). I give them fun names to help me remember what they are. But unless you are going to cross plants and all that...names really aren't important. Besides...after you have a couple dozen tags seem to vanish anyways.![]()
yeah! i totally am guilty of naming my own plants! one of my friends finds this very annoying when people do this (blush)....
me to...I have one named Ranae......I think she likes it...
