Tiny bugs on leaf - what are they?

I thought the leaf just had white/yellow dots on it from whatever incident but upon closer inspection the dots crawled around on the leaf. What could this be? The little bugs are less than 1mm big? Sometimes there are on the leaf sometimes I can't see them at all.

Having the same problems also...some moth like insects seems to be attracted to my orchids...what generally is the solution for this?..anyone might want to suggest an insecticide..

I'd try spraying with a solution of: 60% water, 20% alcohol, 20% REGULAR 409. Spray on the whole orchid, plus the top of media. This won't hurt the orchid. Hope it helps. Betty :-)

Sounds like spider mites. Rub you finger on the underside of the leaf if it turns orange you have mites. Wipe down with alcohol or soap and treat with insecticide. Keep an eye on the plant the mites are tenacious.
