Vicki, a most beautiful display.... time to enter an orchid show! I can't help but ask if your greenhouse is a SunGlo.... and if it is what size and did you install different benches or when you purchased yours, it came with your benches?????

Thanks! ME entering an orchid show!? Doc, I've never even BEEN to one, much less ENTERED. The closest one is about 50 miles away. Thanks, but as for entering, I would feel much more comfortable doing so when I know what I'm doing lots better.

Yes, my greenhouse is a SunGlo, same as yours. Mine is about 10x17 (give or take a few inches), but it didn't come with any extras other than an exaust fan. I know yours came with several because I try to read many of your posts, if poss. A carpenter friend built my benches and the floor. My husband and another friend did the plumbing. Rodney (hubby) and one of his customers/friend did the wiring. Actually, Rodney had already done most of it because we built the gh over the base of an old satellite dish mount that he wired from our house.....you know.....one of those monster 10' dishes from ancient times. lol). By the way, I envy your pretty blooming orchids.....what pretty displays you've had. In fact, you may remember that I told you awhile back that I liked one so well that I made it my desktop image. I started growing orchids about 2 yrs. ago (I believe May of last year) At the time, I grew them in a room off of our garage (about 10x10) We bought my gh last Spring but it wasn't even partially 'operational' until last summer...not even any shadecloth yet...so that's when I moved my chids in (procrastination is one of my husband's most prominent characteristics lol.)

Howard, I can very much relate to what you say about 'memory' and 'getting older'! Look forward to?!....I'm 'there' and have been 'there' for quite a while. I was 60 last Oct., and I honestly think my memory is getting worse by the week....maybe by the day....geez, probably even as we speak. I get so mad at myself sometimes because such simple things slip my mind and I forget 'what', 'why' and 'where' a lot. Some things come back around, but I'm sure some are lost forever somewhere in my head. Anyway, don't worry about it....next time it may well be me.
