I personally find it deplorable how the RHS allows individuals to apply a proprietary name to primary hybrids (I think people are entitled to do so with their own advanced breeding lines, but not for primaries), but so be it. at least it's not Wossner Vietarm I suppose.
Registered in 2004, Paph. Wossner Vietnam Gold is the primary Parvisepalum hybrid between the bright yellow species armeniacum and the newly-discovered vietnamense. Its shape is well-balanced and similar to Paph. Armeni White (armeniacum x delenatii); however, without the yellow-suppressing tendencies of delenatii, the flowers of Wossner Vietnam Gold are true to name and decidedly in the gold tones. The hybrid is easier to bloom than the armeniacum parent, and the plants grow well with intermediate temperatures and bright indirect light.
