apart from the judging standard... is there also a judging by appreciation? I have heard it around the place and I think that it's used for Paph that doesn't quite conform to the bulldog look so maybe they can use that for the fourth flower... in judging by appreciation a plant not conforming to the standard may still get awarded say becoz it has good colouration, but i'm noticing it generally gets an AD (award of distinction), say becoz the colour is one not generally seen before or it was huger or more prolific or...not even worth 2c.. but hey... i don't want to work yet..
