They like it really humid and warm.

The potinaras should be ok with that microclimate as long as they get plenty of air circulation.
I recently spotted one bloom spike on one vanda, could be the effect of warmer days, which were last week. But yes, I think it is cold for them in the night,12-14celsius.

Potinaras... I am not sure, first I the leafes went dark red because of the sun, so I had to move them more in the shade, but I spotted no growing developent so far. The air circulation is ok, the net arround is permeant. It is not a cloth.
