I love the leafless guys, but can never give them the humidity they need to thrive. Nice growing and blooming.

BD, I keep my plants in greenhouse at 70-80% humidity. At midday only 50% and they survive.

I have tried the leafless ones and they never seem to do very well. We grew a ghost orchid (Dendrophylax lindeni) for a couple years, but it finally gave up. I have not tried another. I was thinking of trying one and seeing if I could grow it in an old 10 gal fish tank, but have not got around to it yet.

For now, I will just admire the ones posted here by members like you.

The "balls" to which you refer are the pollinia, which have been dislodged from the anther.

BD, I'm growing this plant just for one year. I hope to keep it alive for long time. I know Dendrophylax lindenii is difficult to grow. An nursery in Germany has lost all seedlings of lindenii. I saw in Singapore another Dendrophylax from Jamaica, which was doing well.
