It's a bit small but it's the only pitcher it has right now. They're usually twice that size.

Nice one, I love Nepenthes. It may sound sinister, but I have always considered there should be carnivorous plants to put animals especially man back to its place where it belongs LOL.
I, too, have always loved Neps. Alas they get sooooo big! I can keep them through their youth but then have to get rid of them as they reach their prime. *sigh*
I have a hard working Nepenthes in my orchid room. Mine is plain & utilitarian, but your n.Miranda is gorgeous, Jeff.
give it more time Jeff.... your's is much bigger than mine is, so it will be some time before
mine reaches that size.... nepenthes are quickly taking the space allotted for my orchids
I have a bicalcarata that is steadily growing in size with every leaf.
Yes I does even as a young plant.... problem is that you have to have a space for this as this is the largest nepenthes (plant wise) around... I've heard some
have a leafspan of almost 2m.... here's mine, its relatively small, the plant is
about 15" diameter and the pitcher is about 2".... this was taken last month.
A new pitcher is starting to open which is a bit bigger than this.
Someone get busy and breed a mini of this one!
Very cool nepenthes! I like the color inside the pitcher.
Cheers,

Pretty cool. I have ventricosa, and it has just started to put out few new growths, as I learnt the hard way about their humidity requirements.
By the way, what do you guys pot up your nepenthes in? Mine is in cocopeat and CHCs on top. I was planning to change the media as it has gotten pretty tight when I feel it.
