I like the yellow stripe on the lip. A perfect landing strip for the pollinator.

During my childhood days, I gave a named of this plant, Dove Orchids, in my own without reading any books or even somebody told me. And later on when I read so many books about the Philippine orchids, I was amazed that the name matched to my description and there is another name I have found in some books which is Purse-shape Dendrobium.
As always with these plants, when rainy season or cool weather comes, everywhere in the branches of trees in Bukidnon where they thrived, perfumed the air and displayed mass white flowers. I like them during rainy season but when it is out of season, I just ignored them wherever I saw them hanging and clinging along the trees. Hehehe!![]()
