Oncidium with crinkled leaves

I have an Oncidium whose new leaves come in very crinkled. Is this normal? Also, would like to positively identify the smaller orchid next to it. Thanks!

Your oncidium is being underwater and not enough humidity

I believe your small orchid is a cattleya. Hard to see the p-bulbs though.

i thought it was a catt. too but i wasnt sure bd because its hard to tell

Please get your 'chids out of that moss! It may look pretty, but can be a real killer.

How are the roots? If the roots are rotting, the plant may not be able to take up enough water and may be showing signs of being underwatered even though it is not.

Thanks for all the feedback. About the sphagnum moss - I only yesterday put a very small amount on just the top of the bark/charcoal medium because I felt that it was drying out too quickly. I ALWAYS repot orchids that I buy because it seems they're always packed with moss, which I know holds way too much moisture.
As for the health of the roots of the oncidium, when I repotted about two months ago, they looked very healthy. I do agree that I probably need to water it more, though. I always would rather err on the side of too dry than too wet, so I do tend to underwater.

Just dont let it dry to much or the roots will die from being too dry and your plant wont be able to get any water at all. Good Luck and keep us updated
