OK, so this little guy followed me home from the big-box store yesterday. I know they usually haven't been well-cared for there, and I usually resist, but....
The part I could see looked pretty healthy...it was potted in bark, with a net baggy rubberbanded around the base of it, and the whole thing in a plastic bag. When I repotted it today, the roots looked pretty good, and the new growth looks pretty good. But, a leaf on top of an old pbulb has several pitted brown marks. I've no idea if this is physical damage (the rubberbanded net was all caught up around this area), or if I have a plant with an infection of some sort. Nothing is squishy, but I sprayed with fungicide just in case.
I am, of course, keeping it separate from the others for now (how long does one put in new orchid in quarantine anyway?
What do you guys think?
