Hey does anyone out there know what international postage regulations on flasks are? I know to get them into New Zealand they must be sterile and have papers provided from the grower, but what about getting them out of the country of origin? Help?

I would assume it depends on the country of origin and what is in the flask. Here in the States, there are some species that are not legal to import, due to CITES status
In U.S., all plant material including pollen will need paper document for import or export. Some species including its pollen and its hybrid are illegal to import here...
To avoid legal trouble(fine or jail time), please call your own gov't agency to get a firm answer.
ok thanks guys. Some members of my local orchid society went to Japan last year for the international show, and came back with about 10 flasks each. The grower hadn'tfilled out the proper papers and they got caught at customs and had to go back and miss their flight.
