    However Since I am unable to actually see anything more than a Reflection or Photo of my hair it is rather a moot querey IMHO. On the oppisite corner, if I can enjoy an independent thing of beauty & majesty what do I need hair for when I could have an Orchid to behold instead?
    Am I confused? Did I over, under or perhaps Miss State ( & I do not mean Miss'. State of Starkeville, MS. DUH?.. . Being alumnus of a much better SEC University and all . . . . . . Ahem! NAH!! GO GATORS. . . .

    heres some trivia...
    How many orchid species aprox. are there in New Zealand (i thought it only to be a few)?
    There are amazingly over 150 species orchids native/endemic to the New Zealand mainland. 90% of NZ population im sure thinks there is only 5 or 6 naitive species, let alone know we have any at all!

    Yea, i think it is only a certain group though, D. nobile i know is edible. Another edible orchid is Gastrodia species, all 3 of the species available in NZ are edible, and they are just like a nutty flavoured potato!

    Wht do you think of Yunnan ham. I understand the best ham comes from Yunnan and they used to feed their pigs Paph armeniacum. Could that explain the extra flavour?

    i've read that encyclia cochleata bulbs are edible, but not tasty (famine food). i've also read that oncidium cebolleta can be used as a narcotic or psychedelic drug, but i cannot find info on how to use it. talk about an orchid buzz!
