@Pete......I understand. "feces bovinum" certainly happens alot.

My biggest pet peeve is that I am harassed by my OH about talking about my chids too much. "But I am talking to YOU!" is my general response. It is generally not acceptable when I show pictures of plants that I want and then request that special accommodations be made when I can't afford them myself.

within Reference to folks touching or worse molesting anything I hold in major esteem:
That's when I poke them on the eye or worse. I surmise it's the Scott "in me Kin", But I do not allow trreading on me or mine.
I'm probably too willing to enlighten, share or teach but allowing strangers to inflict any damage is verbotten, regardless whether it's ignorance or stupidity or meanness which may have percipitated such a gross act.
I say Feel free to look study, even ogle, but Never Touch anything of mine without my express and explicit permission. OMG ! I was Hell on earth with my clildren. My specimens are a close third. Of course my loving Wife Comes 1st. in my somewhat militant protocol.

I just tossed out 5 of my phals due to scale AND mealybugs infestation that I caught a little TOO late
*sigh*
I have 1 mini phal left and its been sprayed with Malathion...so far no critters

oh damn! Scale is worse than mealy bug i think because its harder to eradicate.

hey thanks for your sympathy gita, it was her ring that got hitched on the pouch, and she didnt realise. =( she pulled her fingers out and woops! but the judges saw it happen and it got voted 1st anyway =)

I was lurking and ran across this one...made me laugh so hard the OH thought I'd went nutty...
1) fav. peeve #1...Do Not knock over one of my hugest prize catts that is in bud and then laugh at me for getting upset...(to the neighbor the killed my Irene Finney)!
2) Quit asking me why I have so many...because orchids are so pretty...DUH.
3) Bugs that can come through closed windows to attack my orchids
4) People that ask "don't you have enough already"; or almost as popular; "You bought another one?!"
Sigh...it's like asking why we like flowers...lol...again DUH! BTW, it's only going to be a few more days. I need to hibernate for a few days and then maybe i'll be able to quit running so much. The new house is a total kick...when I get the orchids here 'en masse, i'll take a few pics to post. I so miss e1!...and seeing orchids instead of boxes.
