    Default Pleurothallis megalops

    From the Greek megalo- "large" and opsis "appearance", in reference to the huge lip.

    This miniature species is found on the western slopes of Azuay in southern Ecuador at elevations of 1500-2500m.
    Plant size 3-4cm. Flower size 2cm. Cool to intermediate conditions.

    megalops looks like a... cyclops! V interesting looking and I like the feelers too.
    (OK, it looks like an insect trying to look like a drac)
