    love the purple striations and the touch of yellow in the throat.

    Very pretty. Pity about the troubles in Mindanao or it would be a great orchid destination.

    True. I guess there may be a lot more "undiscovered" orchid species in Mindanao if it weren't for the troubles in certain mountainous and forested areas.

    Not just orchids but plants in general.... I recall that in Palawan they have discovered 3 or 4 new species of Nepenthes in the past 2years or so.
