Wilsonara Pacific Panache "Kenny Boy"
Just picked this up at my local good supermarket. It was labelled simply "Exotic orchid "Kenny Boy," but I was able to find it on the internet and get the full name. I really liked the coloring.
Oddly, they are trying to patent it--and a bunch of others. First time I've seen this. What does it mean when you can divide an orchid and cross it yourself? Does it mean that you're prohibited from registering the cross?

Very beautiful! the leaves look huge. how big are they?

It's pretty tall. The largest leaves are about 20 inches long.

Lovely colour combo.Have tried a few wilsonaras but have never been successful in the hot, humid lowlands though they are supposed to be temperature tolerant.
Dreaming with my eyes open...
