...but why do you put the spanish moss over them?

I dont know why exactly, but the mounted orchids seem to love having the spanish moss as their companions.

They might be providing shade to the roots to keep them cool. I dont think they are big enough clumps to affect the moisture around the plants - but who knows.

Besides, I needed some place to put all the spanish moss growing in my greenhouse
