I do agree with waling here! I would extend that sentiment to any creature that some might deem "lesser than a human". I may well have been bitten or probed but that did leave me fascinated!
I've actually been quite taken by those little critters that live in the medium of some of our plants and the spiders that make homes in the holes of the crevasses of my two mounts. I'm quite careful to avoid getting chems on the spiders and am not quite sure that some of those little critters in the medium aren't there eating up things that might cause rot.![]()
Looks like the bugs we get on our squash plants during the summer. Never heard them called 'wheel bugs' before.

That serrated crest on its back is pretty neat--not that I'd get close enough to see it in real life!
