Questions on how to use the forum

I am a newb and not very computer wise. I am having trouble posting new questions (threads I think) also what is the title mean when you post a new thread? How do I post a picture and how do I put my own picture as my avaitar? What is a Orchid Form Tag? Tks for the help Jim
