Looking at the breeding of Wilsonara California Cherub = Odontioda Glyndebourne Cherubino x Wilsonara Firecracker and it was registered in July 2008 ,I suspect that the name could be correct,but that it is grown from seed and is not a clone as the name would suggest.

As for the flowers fading very quickly - that could very well happen if it has taken more after the mother's side of the breeding - Odontioda Glyndebourne Cherubino and the humidity was not kept up around 70%. The oncidium that has been used to produce this is Oncidium hastatum and that is two generations back . From looking at the photos on the web,the flowers do look very much that of the Odontioda
