VERY nice haul!
My prayers for a speedy recovery!
You do have my sympathy ; when we last had a freeze-up at the tail end of last winter, I got cabin fever from being cooped up with my walking club cancelling walks on the feeble excuse that no one could safely drive along the lanes necessary to get to the advertised starting point, so I walked out of my house, ( which sits next to a "long-distance" foot-path along the Dorset River Avon from Christchurch to Salisbury( which has the tallest spire of any church in England - 400 feet )and had a grand walk for some 7 miles over snowy grass paths, alkong field edges etc ; then came out onto a lane, witht the sun in my eyes. failed to see that the lane was just a sheet of ice . Bang. Ended up in hospital ( the helicopter ride was nice ! ) but nothing broken , just bruises, which took weeks to go.
But I din't get any orchids .
So you did better than me.
Hope the pain goes away soon.
I'm glad you feel better. Your new orchids are beautiful and will bring you much joy!

Bill, I will say a prayer for you EVERY DAY. Please take it easy & get well...You are everyone's favorite person on this forum! Remember, good health is the best gift a person can have! Betty :-)
Sorry to hear about your injury! But congrat's on your new position! Life always mixes happy times with a sour note or two, it seems. Keep those feet up, enjoy the blooms and get feeling better soon.
Darn Bill, so sorry to hear that you are all banged up.It is a rough time of the years not to be at 100%. Congrats on your Presidential position appointment!
Your orchids are splendid as usual. Take care and have a wonderful Holiday Season!
I want to thank each of you for your warm thoughts and kind wishes. This really is the greatest orchid forum around. I wish all of you the very best this Holiday Season and a wonderful year filled with peace, health and happiness---and oh yes the most beautiful orchids you have ever grown. Today the pain has lessened dramatically and I am so thankful for that. Am still limping to my destinations at a very slow pace but with the lessening of the pain I feel almost whole again. Thanks again and love to all of you. Wishing you cherished Holiday memories, Bill
I am glad to hear that your pain has lessened. Merry Christmas to you and your family! AL
