    Default latest display in my hall

    My wife said ( after I had taken the pic above)"are you taking that plant to the greenhouse ? Can't we have it in the house ?" So I changed the hall display, put another couple of plants with it, into the usual basket - forgot to hide the label - must go and move it, my wife thinks that labels should be invisible...so here it is ( the basket).
    The "aluminium plant" -the one on the lft with the green and white leaves, if you don't know it - I don't know/have forgotten its name - saw it growing in the jungle once - Costa Rica ? Venezuela ? Can't recall for sure - grows beautifully in an orchid house. I once had it growing in the soil floor of a greenhouse, and had a ring main of water with spray jets and timers , for humidity, and these plants being watered about every hour or two in the summer grew so fast we used to joke about takling a panga into the greenhouse to cut a path through...
