    Photographed at a nursery in Ecuador.
    This one is small, but there are smaller ones! The new "world-record" smallest orchid is a Platystele from Ecuador.

    I quite agree, Al. It's a really nice species. Very compact, shows its blooms well above the foliage, and nearly always in bloom. Hard to beat, and there's always room for one more of this size!

    Oh Duane you make a great case for this. Sounds like a near ideal plant. I only have one miniature, but it sounds like I need more. AL
