i have a catt seedling that i bought from a "big box" in a bag. when i brought it home i checked for roots and not to my surprise there were none. I have potted it in a clear 4" pot with live sphagnum and a bag over the pot and there seems to be 1 new root growing. the problem is it looks like the more mature leaves are rotting. im not sure if the high humidity has killed them or if they are just finally dying of asphxysiation or of a bacterial or fungal disease. the latter seems less likely to me because they were soaked in a solution of physan 20 for 15 min before being potted. should i remove the bag or just throw the whole thing away? i would not be impartial to parting with it because it cost me around $3. thanks
