    Default Tettigoniidae

Usually, most people know these as Katydid. I have one on my porch door today. The door is glass so I got to take pics of this guy from an unusual angle. Apparently some-thing mistook him for a leaf and tried to eat him as he is missing a leg.

Or his camoflage wasn't as good as he would have liked and something tried to make a meal out of him.

Could be....at first the one leg is what caught my attention. It looked like a stinger or long claw until I got a better look at it up close.
